Amazing video of topless hero confronting armed black thug who tried to steal moped

Published on Apr 13, 2012 by

(ABC News) South Bend, Indiana – When faced with a gun pointing at their face, most people would run a mile, but not this courageous store owner.

Brave Timothy Gramza has been captured on camera standing up to an armed robber outside his store in the city of South Bend, Indiana.

In the video, which lasts for just under two minutes Mr Gramza is seen chatting to friends in a small yard next to his shop just before 11.30am on April 1.

A man dressed in a grey hoodie appears on the screen from the left hand side and continues to walk down the street, passing a moped and pick up truck parked on the road.

A few seconds later, the suspect returns to the scene, climbs aboard the moped and tries unsuccessfully to start the vehicle

The robber has his gun pointed at Mr Gramza for much of the video.

Unknown to the robber Gramza had his own gun in his back pocket throughout the incident. He later said he was unable to pull it because he believed he would have been shot.

The video shows the have-a-go-hero reaching behind his pocket on several occasions.

At the end of the video, the assailant appears to charge the other men in the garage in his desperate search for the keys to the moped.

As the suspect finally leaves the scene without the moped, Mr Gramza is seen firing six shots at him.

The shopkeeper said his adrenaline was flowing during the incident and he didn’t think twice about confronting the man — even though it could have meant his life.

South Bend Det. Sgt Gene Eyster said: ‘It’s possible that one of the six shots Gramza fired at the suspect could have struck or grazed him.

‘He was saying, ‘I’m taking this bike,’ Gramza said. ‘I said, ‘No, you’re not taking it. It’s my buddy’s bike.’

‘He fired that first round, and I thought, ‘It’s on now.’

The suspect is described as a black man, in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall and weighing 150 pounds

Black Male Guns Down “White Hispanic” With Mental Capacity of 12-Year-Old at Taco Bell

And the national liberal media is not interested. Can you imagine the media firestorm if a “white hispanic” gunned down a black man with the mental capacity of a 12-year-old?

LAVEEN AZ (Fox News) – Police are saying more about a shooting at a Taco Bell Tuesday night in which one man died.

They’re also identifying the victim as 29-year-old Daniel Adkins.

About 7:30 p.m., a 22-year-old man and his girlfriend ordered food at the Taco Bell drive-thru and were told to pull up while their order was prepared.

At the same time, Adkins stepped around a corner into the path of the vehicle and angry words were exchanged between he and the driver.

They got into an altercation and Adkins was shot once by the driver. He died at the scene.

The driver, a 22-year-old black male, called police but has not been arrested.

At first, the couple claimed that Adkins had a metal pipe that he swung at them — but it turns out he was holding a dog leash with his yellow lab on the other end.

Family members want that driver arrested, but he’s claiming self-defense.

“He needs to be behind bars. I’ll never see my brother again,” says sister Marina Reyes. “If he felt that my brother was threatening him, he could have easily just rolled up the window and called the cops.”

A metal pipe or bat was never located. An independent witness did say Adkins swung his fists in the driver’s direction.

“He swung his fist towards the driver window, and at some point the driver shot him,” says Phoenix Police Sgt. Tommy Thompson. “Just because we don’t book a person immediately does not mean we don’t charge a person at a later date.”

The dog, Lady, stayed by Adkins’ side until the Humane Society came. Adkins lived with his mom and dad. He’s 29, but his family says he’s mentally disabled and has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old. He didn’t drive, and walked wherever he went.

“This person is still on the loose and I don’t agree with that. So he’s saying self defense, then where’s the weapon? Where’s the pipe? They didn’t find anything on my brother,” says Reyes. “He was just too aggressive, you don’t need to go that far.”

The shooter’s name has not been released. The investigation is still ongoing.

VIDEO: Black Mob Beats, Strips & Robs Tourist As Onlookers Laugh

BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Caught on camera– a white tourist being beaten in downtown Baltimore and instead of helping him, a black crowd laughs and steals his belongings.

The video shows a man being punched in the face in Downtown Baltimore. You can hear his head hit the pavement near the entrance to Courthouse East.

Instead of helping, people laugh.

Then, the crowd strips him naked and takes his car keys, watch, money and iPhone.

It happened St. Patrick’s Day. Police say the victim was out partying and woke up the next day at his hotel, cut and bruised with no idea why.

“He had every right to leave wherever he was and get back to where he needed to be safely. Their behavior was just criminal,” Det. Nicole Monroe of the Baltimore City Police Department said.

“Not only was he relieved of his property after he was assaulted, but there were a lot of other things done to him that are disturbing to look at, and we want to bring these people to justice,” Det. Monroe said.

Those who’ve seen the video are outraged.

“Oh, my god! Where’s the police?” Antonio Richardson of Baltimore said after seeing the video. “It gives us a bad name, Baltimore. And people don’t want to, you know, trust us to come down here.”

“It’s surprising, but it’s dangerous,” another person said.

“It’s awful, obviously. You just have to be really careful on those days. You can’t just be wandering around the streets,” Diego Tapia said.

Police say they’ve gotten leads but made no arrests.

“The public is going to be helpful in this case, and they have been helpful thus far,” Det. Monroe said.

Those who filmed it for fun and posted it for the world to see unwittingly provided cops and prosecutors with the key evidence in this vicious attack.

The victim didn’t even know that such a video existed until a relative watched it online and told him.

After the attack, people bragged about it on camera. Tens of thousands of people have seen the video online.

Man, 78, beaten by black teens: ‘This is for Trayvon’

Six juveniles — the youngest 11, and the oldest 17 — nearly boxed in Dallas Watts, a 78-year-old man from East Toledo.

Mr. Watts was on his way home from the nearby Gas Express Mart at Starr Avenue and White Street about 4:45 p.m. Saturday when the boys approached him.

One pointed at Mr. Watts and said, “take him down,” the victim recounted in an interview Monday.

Mr. Watts, carrying home two small bags of pork rinds to dole out as treats to his three dachshunds, looked at the youth and said, “Why you picking on me?” Mr. Watts recalled. “Remember Trayvon. Why you picking on me?”

The boy, again, allegedly told his friends to “take him down.”

Toledo police charged two children — the 11-year-old and a 17-year-old — with robbery, Sgt. Roy Kennedy said.

The boys on Monday were ordered held in detention at the Lucas County Juvenile Justice Center, prosecutor Lori Olender said.

The 17-year-old also faces a felonious assault charge from an unrelated shooting, Ms. Olender said. The teen allegedly shot Mark Bolling, 24, in the 600 block of Leonard Street in East Toledo on March 18.

Mr. Watts said one of the boys delivered a single blow to the back of his head during the incident Saturday, knocking the victim to the ground.

At one point, the victim recalled being lifted from the ground so one of the boys could “drop-kick” him in the chest.

One boy, he said, put his foot on the back of the victim’s neck, with another shouting, “Kill him.”

While Mr. Watts was down the boys kicked him, over and over, shouting, “[Get] that white [man]. This is for Trayvon … Trayvon lives, white [man]. Kill that white [man],” according to a police report.

The boys fled when a man shouted at them, according to the report.

Mr. Watts said it’s possible the assault was retribution for the death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, who was fatally shot by George Zimmerman, a Neighborhood Watch captain in Sanford, Fla., on Feb. 26. Mr. Zimmerman has said he fired in self-defense and has not been charged with any crime.

The assault occurred only a few hours after a peaceful rally, near the Thurgood Marshall Building, 420 E. Manhattan Blvd., to show support for the Martin family.

At his home Monday, Mr. Watts said he has never allowed weapons inside and that when his four children were growing up, they were not allowed to play “cops and robbers, to kill the Indians.”

During the Vietnam War, Mr. Watts, who served in the military from 1950 to 1961, refused to let his boys play GI Joes.

There would be no more killing, he said.

But now, Mr. Watts says he plans to buy a gun and obtain a permit to carry it.

“What happened to me … down here on the corner, that changed my perspective on humanity,” Mr. Watts said.

Just east of Sanford, Florida. Sound familiar?

Julius Ricardo Bender, 18, and Yahaziel Isaac Israel, 19, both of Sanford, face charges of attempted first-degree murder, burglary with assault or battery and armed burglary.

The victim, a 50-year-old Winter Springs man whose name has not been released, is on life-support at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Deputies were called to the area of Lincoln Street and Beardall Avenue about6:30 p.m. March 26 to investigate a report of a man being beaten, Seminole County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Heather Smith said.

They found the victim in the woods on the north side of Lincoln Street.

According to arrest affidavits:

A witness told deputies he heard someone screaming for help and saw two men pull the victim from his vehicle. He said he watched as one man held the victim and the other beat him in the head with a hammer.

After they dragged the victim into the woods, the men drove away in his sport utility vehicle, which was later found abandoned about a half-mile away on Garbo Jack Lane.

Investigators got a break in the case Thursday, when a tip to Crimeline named Bender and gave the street name of the second suspect.

On Friday, investigators learned Israel’s fingerprints had been found both inside and outside of the victim’s vehicle.

The witness was shown photo lineups and picked out Bender and Israel as the men he saw beating the victim. He said Bender was the man wielding the hammer.

Both men were arrested late Friday.
