On Gas Prices, Newt Gingrich is “On the President’s Mind”

Newt: “It’s kind of strange to have an American president who favors Saudi oil over American oil. Saudi jobs over American jobs. I frankly want an energy policy so no president ever again bows to a Saudi King.”

Newt: “Apparently drilling in Saudi Arabia is fine, paying the Saudis billions of dollars is fine, having the royalties go to the Saudi government is fine. It’s the Americans Obama doesn’t like to help,” said Gingrich in his interview with CBS. “Why not drill in the United States? Why not have the money stay here? Why not create jobs here?”

White House calls Gingrich a liar on gas prices

LOL The most deceptive administration in history calls someone a liar? Gas was well below Gingrich’s proposed $2.50 a gallon when Obama took office. Obama chose an energy secretary who is infamous for stating that we need to have gas prices as high as those in Europe. When we see the natural results of that energy department and Obama gets called on it they get testy and start calling presidential candidates liars? Too funny except that we all feel the pain of higher energy costs which Obama said would “necessarily skyrocket” under his plan.
