That is a great compassion!!!! How about one is state sponsored religion (Pharisees) meant to control the masses and the other is no King But King Jesus. (Jesus might tell us to resisted tyranny) Then who would the Pharisees control? What would they do with all those burdensome regulations they try to put on our backs!
